Position Overview

 

Position Summary:


We are currently seeking a motivated Professional Services and Sales Support Specialist to provide expert technical support for Fujifilm’s production printing and Wide Format products across Canada. You will collaborate closely with sales and service teams to deliver product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting for toner digital printing, Wide Format Inkjet, and traditional printing solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to balance both field and office-based support. Position Responsibilities:

 

Professional Services:

  • Analyze client business processes related to Ink Jet and Print on Demand (POD) to recommend technical and business solutions.
  • Assess and document client workflows and service procedures; develop Statements of Work and technical solution reports.
  • Coordinate and manage consulting projects including hardware/software purchasing, installation, and end-user training.
  • Provide advanced technical support for escalated hardware and software issues.
  • Develop and deliver training plans and support tools to enhance first-level support capabilities.
  • Maintain demo room equipment, ensuring operational readiness and color accuracy across platforms.
  • Promote and uphold industry hardware and software standards.
  • Participate in industry groups and monitor trends to maintain technical and business knowledge.
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between sales and technical service teams.

 Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales activities to advance sales cycles.
  • Train customers and dealers on optimal use of production equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Provide workflow training to help customers manage and operate equipment efficiently.
  • Support customer and dealer engagement through technical demonstrations and training sessions.

Job Description

 

Skills / Experience:

 

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a technical role within the Graphics Industry, preferably with Ink Jet and Toner Production printing.
  • Expert knowledge in colour management, including software such as Colorgate and Caldera.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnosing technical issues on printing products.
  • Strong ability to develop and deliver training plans and support tools for service teams, customers, and dealers.
  • Proven experience in conducting customer product demonstrations, with the ability to tailor presentations to meet specific customer needs and effectively emphasize key product features to support the sales process.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office, MS-Windows, IT networking, and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction with a diplomatic and customer-friendly approach.
  • Ability to travel as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
 
Salary Range: The annual base salary for this position is $80,000 - $97,000. The exact salary offered will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience relative to the requirements of the role. 
 
Variable Compensation: This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus in accordance with the Annual Corporate Performance Bonus Plan.
