General Summary:


As a Sr. Software Developer, you will analyze and develop code for a preclinical ultrasound imaging system. This is a hands-on software development position with the opportunity to design and develop ultrasound hardware control, graphical user interfaces, data analysis and processing with C++ on the Microsoft Windows platform. Qualified candidates should have previous experience with Microsoft Windows software development and must possess a basic understanding of C, C++ and Windows API. Candidates must be team oriented and eager to work in a fast paced environment.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Build, debug, and verify software designs meet defined specifications
  • Construct requirements specifications and implement features
  • Work with software, hardware, and ultrasound system developers to develop and enhance application software
  • Execute unit tests to ensure the accuracy of code changes


  • University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
  • 4+ years of C/C++ experience
  • 4+ years of Windows API experience is an asset
  • 1+ years of C#, WPF, XAML experience is an asset
  • Experience with ATL and COM is an asset
  • Experience with database is an asset
  • Experience with cloud computing is an asset
  • Experience with full life cycle of software development
  • Experience with medical software development is an asset
  • Basic signal processing is an asset
